From an early stage of his journey, Subhasis Chatterjee was deeply passionate about storytelling, technology and community building. With a strong academic foundation in English Literature, he continuously sharpened his skills in writing, digital media and open source platforms.
Beyond leadership and speaking, Subhasis actively mentors young creators, conducts workshops and promotes ethical digital practices. A firm believer in continuous learning and knowledge sharing, he contributes to the WordPress ecosystem and encourages sustainable digital growth.
As a traveler and community advocate, he enjoys connecting with people across cultures, inspiring positive change through his talks, content and initiatives while promoting creativity, collaboration and purpose driven impact.
Subhasis Chatterjee is a storyteller, web journalist, content architect and content analyst. He is also widely recognized as a published author, blogger, traveller, keynote speaker and social media influencer. Over the years he has received several recognitions including the Top Food Bloggers Award, Best National Blogger Award in 2019, Fireboxx National Blogger Icon Award in 2022 and Eastern Region Top Blogger Icon Award in 2022, along with FBAI awards in 2023 and 2024.
He is the Founder and CEO of ConnectIndia and the Founder and Director of SDN Foundation. He also serves as the Chief Editor of ProsperaX, India’s first youth business magazine dedicated to encouraging young entrepreneurs and leaders.
Subhasis runs three unique online courses on Content Writing, Digital Marketing and Web Journalism, helping aspiring professionals build practical digital skills. He is also an organiser, contributor and active member of the WordPress Kolkata community and is recognized as one of the Top 175 plus WordPress Influencers globally.
His work and ideas have been featured on the Mozilla Foundation platform and several other international digital communities. As a global speaker and mentor, Subhasis has delivered more than 500 talks across India and abroad. Some of the most notable speaking engagements include sessions at University of Oxford, University of Glasgow and University of Edinburgh in 2019. He has also spoken at international WordPress conferences such as WordCamp Bharatpur Nepal, WordCamp Butwal Nepal, WordCamp Kathmandu, WordCamp Asia in Bangkok Thailand, CareerCamp Kolkata, WordCamp Sylhet and Campus Connect Kolkata.
